Uttranchal with Nainital & Corbett (5Days/4nights) (Delhi/Nainital/Corbett)

Day 1  :- Delhi – Nainital: Drive from Delhi to Nainital (270 kms / 6 hrs approx). Arrive Nainital and check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 2  :- Nainital: Proceed for a full-day tour of Nainital. Visit the Naina Devi Temple on the shore of the lake-one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths in India. Naina Devi Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. According to Hindu mythology, Sati, consort of Lord Shiva, killed herself by jumping in the sacrificial fire. Shiva started roaming the entire universe with the body of Sati in his arms. Lord Vishnu dismembered the dead body of Sati to calm down the anger of Shiva. Various body parts of Sati fell at fifty-one different places in India that later became sacred as Shakti Peeths. Stroll around Naini lake, and evening visit the Mall road. Overnight in Nainital.

Day 3  :- Corbett: Drive to Corbett (120 kms / 2.5 hrs approx). Arrive Corbett and check in to your hotel. Situated in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district, Corbett National Park has a population of 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. It is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularized this land and its animals in his book “The Man-Eaters of Kumaon”. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in Corbett Park. Corbett is particularly famed for its tiger population. Overnight in Corbett.

Day 4  :- Corbett: Today, take a morning and afternoon jeep safari in the park. Overnight in Corbett.

Day 5  :- Onwards: Today, proceed to New Delhi (296 kms / 6 hrs approx).
